About the Winery
Our Sustainability
At Barnett Vineyards, sustainability isn’t just a practice—it’s a core value that guides every decision we make, from vine to bottle. As a Napa Green Certified winery, we proudly uphold a rigorous, third-party verified standard of environmental stewardship that focuses on energy efficiency, water conservation, waste prevention, soil health, climate action, and social equity.
We’re committed to protecting the land, water, and community that make Napa Valley so special. Our estate is:
- Farmed Organically – promoting soil health and biodiversity without the use of synthetic chemicals.
- Powered in Part by Solar Energy – reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
- Water-Wise – implementing smart irrigation and conservation techniques.
- Prepared for Wildfire – with proactive prevention and land management efforts.
- Sustainable in Our Operations – including EV charging stations and responsible waste reduction and recycling programs.
- Eco-Conscious in Packaging – using recycled shipping materials and lighter glass bottles to reduce our carbon footprint.
We also compost vineyard waste to naturally enrich our soils, ensuring that every part of the farming cycle contributes to a healthier ecosystem.
At Barnett, sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s a long-term commitment to preserving the beauty and bounty of Spring Mountain for generations to come.
