The aromatics are lively with immediate floral, cinnamon, and strawberry notes. It is elegant on the palate, but still quite round for a rose, with strawberry tart and rosewater perfume as well as plethora of berries.
The aromatics leap out of the bottle with a range of fruit on the nose from bosc pear and apricot to guava and passionfruit. In addition, there is some jasmine spice and rosewater perfume.
The nose is very bright and fragrant filled with pomegranate, cherry blossoms, white pepper and fresh truffles. Slight dusty cocoa and an edge of cinnamon spice also make up the aromatics.
The 2021 Cabernet Franc has a beautiful dark purple core. Mountain Cabernet Franc is different, which is evident on the nose. Blackcurrants and freshly roasted coffee abound from the glass.

The 2022 MMV is the darkest ever produced being opaque and near black. The valley floor aromatics jump out of the glass with big raspberry jam and caramel while the mountain fruit pulls the jam aspect back adding some blackcurrant and earth tones
